Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the CAR (Capital Adequacy Ratio), LDR (Loan to Deposit Ratio), and NPL (Non-Performing Loan) variables on the ROA (Return on Assets) variable in banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for the period 2017- 2019. The population in this study were 35 banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, data outlier detection, classical assumptions, and multiple linear regression using the SPSS program (Statistical Package for Social Science). The results show that the CAR (Capital Adequacy Ratio) variable partially has a positive effect on the ROA (Return on Assets) variable, the LDR (Loan to Deposit Ratio) variable partially has no effect on the ROA (Return on Assets) variable, and the NPL (Non-Performing) variable. Loan) partially harms the ROA (Return on Assets) variable. The variable CAR (Capital Adequacy Ratio), LDR (Loan to Deposit Ratio and NPL (Non-Performing Loan) simultaneously influence the ROA (Return on Assets) variable.
