Author Guidelines

Author should be consider the following rules to submit paper to Jurnal Sisfokom (Sistem Informasi dan Komputer):

  1. Jurnal Sisfokom (Sistem Informasi dan Komputer) uses a blind peer-review system.
  2. The manuscript is written in Microsoft Word document, single space, Times New Roman 10 and minimum 6 pages. The main text format consists of two column on A4 paper (210 x 297 mm). The margin text are using Multiple Pages - Mirror Margins: Top 2 cm, Bottom 4.3 cm, 1.3 cm Inside, Outside 1.3 cm. Please do not alter the formatting and style layouts which have been set up in the template document.
  3. Manuscripts content should be arranged in the following order: Title, Abstract, Introduction, Methodology, Result and Analysis, Conclusion, Acknowledgment (If Needed), and References.
  4. Title: The title should be the fewest possible words those adequately describe the contents. The title is placed in the center of the page with the font Times New Roman 24 (twenty four). If there are subtitles, the same type of letter to the main titles, but their case is 14 (fourteen).
  5. Abstract: The abstract should provide a brief summary of important messages of each section of the paper: Background of the Problem (1-2 sentences), goal and scope (1-2 sentences), Problem and its interest (1-2 sentences), Method (1-2 sentences), Result or finding (1-2 sentences), and Conclution (~2 sentences). The Abstract should not exceed 250 words and should be designed to define clearly what is dealt with in the paper. It should be typed as a single paragraph, and written in Times New Roman 9 pt. If author do submission in Bahasa, please make this section in two part (English and Bahasa)
  6. Keywords: maximum 5 words, separated by comma. Keywords should not be too general, but must represent the content of the article, and can be phrases.
  7. Introduction: The introduction should provide the rationale for the present study. Choose references carefully to provide the most important background information. Much of the introduction should be written in the present tense, because the author will be referring primarily to his/her problem and the established knowledge relating to it at the start of his/her work. Organization and citation of the bibliography are made in IEEE style in sign [1], [2] and so on. The introduction should include: (1) Background of the problem, (2) Problem of the research and its interest. It presents possible clarity, the nature and scope of problem investigated. (3) State of the Art, this aims to strengthen novelty statements or the significance or scientific contributions or originality of the article. also try to refer to articles from journals of the last 10 years that justify their originality or contribution, and (4) Gap analysis. Author can describes related works in this section.
  8. Methodology: This section discusses the basic idea of the proposed approach and the reasons for the choice of the approach. The main purpose of this section is to describe the experimental design and then provide enough detail so that a competent worker can repeat the experiments. Most of the section should be written in the past tense. Detailed rules about figures, tables and mathematical equations are given in the journal templates.
  9. Result and Analysis: There are usually two ingredients of this section. First, the author should give some kind of overall description of the experiment, providing the "big picture". Second, they should present discussion of the experimental results. This section should be presented in the past tense. The results of the experiment need to be clearly and simply stated because it is the results that constitute the new knowledge that you are contributing to the world.
  10. Conclusion: Please include a brief summary of the possible clinical implications of your work in the Conclusion section. This section should lead the reader to an important matter of the paper. It also can be followed by suggestion or recommendation related to further research.
  11. References: References should be added at the end of the paper, and its corresponding citation will be added in the order of their appearance in the text. Authors should ensure that every reference in the text appears in the list. References are written in IEEE style. All reference items must be in 8 pt font. Number the reference items consecutively in square brackets, e.g. [1]. Use Mendeley (https://www.mendeley.com), a free and open-source reference management software to manage bibliographic data and related research materials, then select IEEE style. Primary references should be at least 80% of at least 15 references from the last 10 years.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
  7. The paper submitted has similarity index of 25% or less.
 

Copyright Notice

The copyright of the article that accepted for publication shall be assigned to Jurnal Sisfokom (Sistem Informasi dan Komputer) and LPPM ISB Atma Luhur as the publisher of the journal. Copyright includes the right to reproduce and deliver the article in all form and media, including reprints, photographs, microfilms, and any other similar reproductions, as well as translations.

Jurnal Sisfokom (Sistem Informasi dan Komputer), LPPM ISB Atma Luhur, and the Editors make every effort to ensure that no wrong or misleading data, opinions or statements be published in the journal. In any way, the contents of the articles and advertisements published in Jurnal Sisfokom (Sistem Informasi dan Komputer) are the sole and exclusive responsibility of their respective authors.

Jurnal Sisfokom (Sistem Informasi dan Komputer) has full publishing rights to the published articles. Authors are allowed to distribute articles that have been published by sharing the link or DOI of the article. Authors are allowed to use their articles for legal purposes deemed necessary without the written permission of the journal with the initial publication notification from the Jurnal Sisfokom (Sistem Informasi dan Komputer).

This agreement is to be signed by at least one of the authors who have obtained the assent of the co-author(s). After submission of this agreement signed by the corresponding author, changes of authorship or in the order of the authors listed will not be accepted. The copyright form should be signed originally, and send it to the Editorial in the form of scanned document to sisfokom@atmaluhur.ac.id.

Author Fees

This journal charges the following author fees.

Article Publication: 800000.00 (IDR)
If this paper is accepted for publication, you will be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee to cover publications costs.

 

If you do not have funds to pay such fees, you will have an opportunity to waive each fee. We do not want fees to prevent the publication of worthy work.
