Abstract

Saat ini tiap operator telekomunikasi sudah menggunakan teknologi 3G/UMTS setelah sebelumnya GSM lalu disusul CDMA. Namun biasanya harga murah yang ditawarkan operator 3G tidak menjamin kualitas suatu pelayanan misalnya akses data yang susah sekali tersambung atau bahkan tiba-tiba putus saat kita melakukan koneksi. Untuk mengetahui penyebab kegagalan koneksi tersebut, dengan mengambil study kasus apakah cuaca merupakan penyebab dari gagal koneksi pada jaringan 3G. Untuk mensimulasikannya dalam penelitian ini menggunakan simulato OPNET. Untuk cuaca baik transmission power nya 1.0 DB sedangkan untuk transmission power nya 0.1 DB
